How it started

It started with a question nobody was asking.

In Croatia, the traditional advice for pregnant women was simple: slow down, rest, be careful.

Ozana Brkic had spent years studying the actual science. She completed specialized training through an international program run by the University of Physical Education in Gdansk, earning an EU-recognized certification in Exercise in Pregnancy and Postpartum, aligned with Europe Active standards.

The research is clear: in a normal pregnancy without medical contraindications, guided movement is not just safe. It actively helps. It can reduce back and hip pain, improve mood, support easier labour, and speed up recovery afterwards.

But women who wanted expert prenatal coaching had few options. If you were lucky enough to live near a specialist, great. Most were not. MyFittio was built to close that gap.

Ozana is a certified kinesiologist specializing in prenatal and postnatal exercise. She studied kinesiology at the Faculty of Kinesiology in Osijek and holds an EU-recognized qualification earned through specialized theory and practical training under international experts in kinesiology and perinatal medicine.

She founded MyFittio to bring that expertise to women who don't have access to a specialist trainer nearby. What started as group sessions in Valpovo became the foundation for a platform available anywhere.
